One of the biggest awards shows of the year— the American Music Awards was held on November 22. The event was hosted by Cardi B in front of a live audience in Los Angeles. After a slate of virtual award shows last year, the 2021 AMAs was bound to create some major viral moments as the show was open to an in-person audience. With a savvy mix of first-timers like Måneskin and Jennifer Lopez, the 2021 AMAs offered a performance lineup like never before. When it comes to the winners, the South Korean sensation Bangtan Boys (BTS) ruled the show as the boy band took home a total of three awards including Artist of the Year at the AMAs.
