"When Mira Nair was a kid, she asked herself, can art change the world? She has proven it can," Tabu said while presenting the Jeff Skoll Award for Impact Media during the 2020 TIFF Tribute Awards ceremony. Tabu and Mira Nair, who have collaborated on several projects previously, teamed up again for 'A Suitable Boy', which also features Ishaan Kattar. Mira and several other famous actors were honoured during the ceremony which took place on a video conference. Actors such as Sir Anthony Hopkins, Oscar-winner Kate Winslet, filmmaker Chloe Zhao were the other winners of the prestigious award. When I work, it feels like fun, so I really want to thank the Toronto International Film Festival for giving me an award to have my fun and to be part of the extraordinary privilege of being able to make cinema," Mira Nair said in her acceptance speech.
