65th Jio Filmfare Awards (South) 2018: Best Shots

The 65th Jio Filmfare Awards ceremony turned into a night of glitz and glam as the who’s who of the four South Indian film industries came together to honour the outstanding talent in the business. From Madhavan, Rana Daggubati, Puneeth Rajkumar, Tovino Thomas to Raai Laxmi, Amala Paul, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Shamna Kasim, Navya Niar, Mamta Mohandas, Sai Pallavi and Aishwarya Lekshmi all the big Tollywood stars graced the occasion with their presence. However, Malayalam actress Ahaana Krishna stole the show with her high-octane performance. The movie 'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion', which has already been recognized across the globe, swept the Best Film award in Telugu category. For the same movie, S S Rajamouli, Rana Daggubati, Ramya Krishna, M M Keeravani, Sabu Cyril, K K Senthil Kumar won Best Director award, Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Male), Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Female), Best Music, Best Production Design and Best Cinematographer award respectively. While Gopi Nainar’s powerful social drama Aramm, starring Lady Superstar Nayanthara in the lead, walked away with the Best Film award in Tamil category, filmmaker duo Pushkar and Gayathri won the honours for their film Vikram Vedha, which has wowed audience across the country. Madhavan took home the Black Lady in the Best Actor (Critics) category for his portrayal of Vikram in that film.
