Sushmita Sen celebrates 25 years of Miss Universe win

Former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen celebrated 25 years of winning the Miss Universe title on May 21, 2019. Sushmita Sen won the title of Femina Miss India in 1994 and represented India at Miss Universe 1994. Sushmita became the first Indian to ever win Miss Universe beauty pageant. Beauty queen Sushmita was just 18-years-old when she won the Miss Universe 1994 title. Post her win, Sushmita tried her luck in Bollywood and over the years, got featured in major blockbusters. The former beauty queen took to Twitter and shared her joy on the same. She tweeted, “Happy 25 yrs of India’s First Miss Universe!!!🤗❤️🇮🇳 Thank you @Gahlaut11 🙏 #MissUniverse1994 #India ❤️. She also tweeted, “May 21st 1994!!!!🤗❤️🇮🇳🙏😊 #25yrs #MissUniverse1994 #India ❤️”. Sushmita Sen’s boyfriend Rohman Shawl also congratulated his ladylove for clocking 25 years of winning the Miss Universe title. Rohman shared a throwback photo of Sushmita, wearing the crown and wrote, “25 years of owning the universe.” Sushmita Sen and Rohman Shawl were first spotted at Neeta Lulla’s fashion show, where the actress turned showstopper. It was also seen that Rohman bonded with Sushmita’s daughters Alisah and Renee at the event. Rohman Shawl, who is 15 years younger to Sushmita Sen, has modelled for some of the popular designers.
