Sasha-Lee Olivier crowned Miss World South Africa 2019

Sasha-Lee Olivier, who was crowned as the new Miss World South Africa 2019 during a grand coronation night at the Sun Arena, became the official representative of South Africa in Miss World 2019. 26-year-old beauty Sasha-Lee was one of the sixteen gorgeous finalists, who competed and finally won the coveted national crown. This was the 61st edition of the national pageant. Sasha-Lee Olivier succeeded and was crowned by Miss World South Africa 2018 Thulisa Keyi. Sasha-Lee hails from Alberton, Johannesburg and is currently pursuing a double major in marketing and psychology at Wits. While Sasha-Lee Olivier was crowned as Miss World South Africa 2019, Zozibini Tunzi was sashed as Miss Universe South Africa 2019. The beauty pageant was a gala affair, which was judged by reigning Miss Universe Catriona Gray and Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters along with many other noted dignitaries.
