Arielle Freytag selected as Miss Oregon USA 2022

Arielle Freytag, who was sashed as Miss Oregon USA 2022, will now represent Oregon at Miss USA 2022. The grand finale was held at the Sherwood Center for the Arts, where Arielle won the state crown. Miss Oregon USA 2022 Arielle Freytag succeeds and was crowned by Miss Oregon USA 2021 Allison Cook. Post winning the pageant, Arielle wrote an emotional note on Instagram as, "Never. Give. Up. This was my sixth and final attempt at the Miss Oregon USA title before aging out. If I had given up, I would’ve missed out on this moment. I hope this will inspire you to continue pursuing your dreams and goals, because anything is possible if you are yourself and believe in yourself. I was my authentic, silly, fun Arielle self, and my biggest dream came true. (I mean, I was dancing to Beyoncé, Missy Elliot and Lizzo in the hallway right before I went into my interview. It doesn’t get more ‘Arielle’ than that! 😂) It’s hard to put my gratitude into words.. I am forever thankful to the incredible panel of judges for seeing my potential and allowing me this opportunity that I’ve dreamed of for so many years, and worked so hard towards. I promise to make Oregon proud, and serve my magnificent state with every ounce of my soul." Also at the finale, Alaina McClanen-Clemons was selected as Miss Oregon Teen USA 2022, who will represent Oregon at Miss Teen USA 2022.
