Karen Gallman crowned Miss Intercontinental 2018

Karen Gallman from Philippines became the new beauty queen at the grand finale of Miss Intercontinental 2018 in Manila. She was crowned by the outgoing queen Veronica Salas Vallejo. Adriana Moya Alvarado from Costa Rica was adjudged as the first runner-up and Laura Longauerova from Slovakia was announced the second runner-up at the prestigious pageant. The other winners from the grand finale include Hillary Hollmann Del Prado from Colombia, who was adjudged as the third runner-up, and Ngan Anh Le Au from Vietnam was declared as the fourth runner-up. Karen Gallman was born to a Filipino mother and Australian father. She is the last from the Binibining Pilipinas 2018 queens to compete in an international beauty pageant. Karen took to her Instagram to express her joy and wrote, “We did it Philippines! 🇵🇭. I’m so proud to bring our nation its first Intercontinental crown. The overwhelming support from you all has been amazing and I can’t thank you all enough nor have done it without you. This crown is not just for me, its for all of you and a representation of what we can achieve as a nation.
