Payal Ghosh made some shocking allegations against director Anurag Kashyap in a video that's going viral. The actress has accused the 'Bombay Velvet' director of sexual assault. She took to Twitter and said, @anuragkashyap72 has forced himself on me and extremely badly. @PMOIndia @narendramodi ji, kindly take action and let the country see the demon behind this creative guy. I am aware that it can harm me and my security is at risk. Pls help! (sic)." In an exclusive chat with ETimes the 'Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi' actress spoke in detail regarding her accusations. She said, "I have wanted to speak about this for a long time. But today, finally I thought I must get it off my head. I had tweeted about my incident sometime ago when the MeToo movement had happened, but many people told me to delete the tweet else I would stop getting work. My manager too advised me to remove the tweet. I complied. Post that, Anurag blocked me on WhatsApp," she said. However, Anurag Kashyap has claimed that the allegations are baseless. "It took you so long to make an attempt to silence me. Never mind... in a bid to silence me, you have dragged another woman in this, despite being a woman. Please stick to the limits, Madame. All I want to say is all allegations are baseless," he responded on Twitter.
