Bollywood stars protest, demand swift justice for Kathua and Unnao rape victims

Bollywood stars Twinkle Khanna, Aditi Rao Hydari, Rajkummar Rao, Kalki Koechlin, Ekta Kapoor, Vishal Dadlani, Amyra Dastur, Sona Mohapatra, Nandita Das, Kiran Rao, Tara Sharma, Sameera Reddy, Sapna Bhavnani, Anushka Manchanda, Vidya Malvade, Helen and many other celebrities take to streets as they raise their voice in support of a protest rally ‘India Unites for Justice Against Rapes and Murders’, demanding justice for the Kathua and Unnao rape victims. A massive wave of protest has swept India after an eight-year-old Muslim girl was raped and killed in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir. Reportedly, a number of police officials are also among those accused of kidnapping, gang raping and murdering the schoolgirl. In order to seek justice for the minor, Bollywood biggies also came out in large numbers on Mumbai streets and showed their anger against the horrific incident. Holding placards, B-town celebrities raised slogans as they called for justice for the eight-year-old Muslim girl. People across the world have vented their ire over the Kathua rape case and expressed their sorrow by taking to streets. As the demand for justice for the Kathua and Unnao rape victims is growing louder day-by-day, Bollywood celebrities are also leaving no stone unturned to show their support towards such shocking incident.
