UAE based filmmaker Ursula Manvatkar recently marked her directorial debut with the psycho-horror mini film turned series 'The Last Chance' on OTT platform DigiPlex. Known for having worked in mega Bollywood projects like 'Airlift', ‘Happy New Year’ and 'Tiger Zinda Hai', it’s also her second work as a scriptwriter. Ursula has worked for over 18 years in the marketing, events, casting and film production.

She has produced and co-produced many award-winning short films such as 'Chappal', 'The Kick', 'The Evidence' and 'Let it Go'. Currently she’s working on her two upcoming short films called 'Gustakhi' and ‘Hello Shabnam’.

Apart from that, one of Manvatkar’s short films 'The Final Straw' was also streamed recently on DigiPlex and is an experimental film with a social message.

Shot in Hindi, 'The Last Chance' revolves around the fate of four friends who venture out on a rather delayed camping trip where things take a strange turn after a brief stop-over at a tea shop.

The film features Zo Aly in the lead role, who along with Ursula, has also written the series. The mini-series also has UAE-based actors Sebi Paul Mathews, Dushyant Barot, Mohideen Ali, Hasnain Sajjad, Sam John and Baby Aghna in supporting roles.
