Preity Zinta follows Sonam Kapoor’s footsteps, is now ‘Preity G Zinta’

After more than two years of her wedding, Preity Zinta decided to change her name to ‘Preity G Zinta’ as she included her hubby Gene Goodenough’s initials to her name. Preity tied the knot with her long-time partner Gene Goodenough in February 2016. The actress’s mehendi and wedding took place in California while the wedding reception was held in Mumbai where many Bollywood celebrities were present in full attendance. Preity looked like the traditional Rajput bride on her wedding. The actress is quite active on social media. She wrote took to Twitter and wrote, “After marriage I decided to take the G from my husbands name. One G is Goodenough for me 😘 Ting” According to an interview in The Times of India, Zinta was quoted saying, “I believe in good deeds, in karma, I don't believe in going to temples. For me, religion is very personal. It's all about having faith ... We have heard and read that all religions are equal. Now I am increasingly believing in this.” Preity, who was a complete tomboy while growing up, was also the youngest one to own an IPL team as of 2009.
