Although insiders reveal Priyanka did initially carve out time in her packed schedule to witness Parineeti's big moment, last-minute obligations appear to have intervened. In a soulful lead-up to the grand Udaipur celebration, the lovebirds kicked off their matrimonial journey with an 'ardas' ceremony in a Delhi Gurudwara. Clad in matching shades of subdued pink, the couple looked serenely joyful. For the uninitiated, 'ardas' is a sacred Sikh prayer traditionally recited before significant life events. Keeping sartorial elegance at the forefront, Parineeti has enlisted her friend and acclaimed designer Manish Malhotra to craft her dream lehenga. True to form, the couple has opted for a tasteful and understated wedding theme.
