Sonam Kapoor is making headlines on social media as she is all set to tie the knot with businessman Anand Ahuja on May 08, 2018. The couple’s wedding rumours are doing the rounds for quite some time. Sonam Kapoor’s house has been decked up with lights and flowers. Guests including Karan Johar, Sanjay and Maheep Kapoor have also reached at Anil Kapoor’s house for the ceremonies. Sonam Kapoor's younger brother Harshvardhan Kapoor was also seen gearing up for the gala wedding. Earlier, Sonam and Anand had planned for a destination wedding but later they chose a heritage bungalow in Mumbai as their wedding venue. According to news reports, Sonam and Anand are against grand wedding and are going ahead with an intimate affair. Earlier, it was said that Anil Kapoor had planned for a lavish wedding for his daughter Sonam. Now, they will host a grand reception party and wedding will be a simple affair. A source revealed, “Due to Sonam's aunt Sridevi's sudden demise, the festivities have been curtailed. It will now be an intimate affair in Mumbai.” There are also reports that there will be no wedding cards and they will send e-invites to all their friends and families. “Both Sonam and Anand believe in paper conservation. They believe that wedding cards mean a lot of waste of paper. Hence they have asked their families to not print any invitation cards. Instead, they have designed an elegant e-invite together which will be sent to their friends and relatives on their phones,” said a source.
