Tell us a little about your journey into Bollywood…

There are 3 primary paths in the industry.

A) Either you are a son/ daughter of any actor/ actress as it’ll give you a preferred launch with the industry support.

B) Then we have pageant participants. This will give you direct entry into the industry, but your acting skills decide your journey.

C) None of the above? No problem. Go/ run/ walk/ fly to Mumbai (city of dreams). Work relentless towards your dream with honesty and passion, and you will get recognition for sure.

"Kehte hain agar kisi cheez ko dil se chaho ... to puri kainaat usse tumse milane ki koshish mein lag jaati hai..." I have embarked my journey with honestly and passion and "Itni shiddat se maine tumhe paane ki koshish ki hai... ki har zarre ne mujhe tumse milane ki saazish ki hai..." My journey to Bollywood has just begun and been very overwhelming: I was born and raised in New Delhi, pursued Dental studies and went on to pursue residency opportunities in a couple of hospitals in Delhi, it was during this time I got auditions that led me to the city of Mumbai. Hence my journey from being a Doctor to Actress started with debut movie 'Ranchi Diaries' got me nominated for the ‘Best Female Debutant' by Zee Cine Awards 2018, nominated for the ‘Best Female Debutant' by Star Screen Awards 2018 and awarded the 'Best Debutante' at the Jharkhand International Film Festival 2018. I was humbled to be awarded as 'Lokmat Most Stylish - Diva of the Year 2018' "Par Picture abhi baaki hai mere dost 😉"

What do you like doing in your spare time?

I love to read, It may be just 5-10 minutes that I can spare, but I do crack a book open at least once a day! Watch classic films and play the guitar.

What has been your best/ worst date?

The best date 20th of September, it happens to be my birthday and has been the best day and date!!

The worst date, hmm, actually would not call it a date, but was a dinner with an acquaintance where all he could do is brag about how good a director he is, he has a vision, blah blah... It was so miserable that in repetition I fasted that day!
