Alia Bhatt’s Sadak 2 trailer becomes most DISLIKED video on YouTube; #Sadak2dislike trends

The trailer of Mahesh Bhatt's directorial ‘Sadak 2’ was released on August 12, 2020 and within a few hours, the number of dislikes on the video widely surpassed the number of likes on it. It has quickly become the most-disliked video on YouTube in India within less than 24 hours and the number might increase in the coming days. The trailer has received 6.4 million ‘dislikes’. With more than 22 million views, only 347k people have ‘liked’ the trailer. A hashtag #Sadak2dislike is trending on Twitter where people are urging to dislike the trailer of ‘Sadak 2’ that is all set to premiere the comeback film of director Mahesh Bhatt. 'Sadak 2', which marks Bhatt's return to filmmaking after around two decades, has been in the eye of the storm ever since the untimely demise of Sushant Singh Rajput. The actor's demise brought the issue of Bollywood nepotism to the fore and ‘Sadak 2’, which stars Bhatt's daughters Alia and Pooja Bhatt along with industry insider stars Sanjay Dutt and Aditya Roy Kapur. The film has been heavily trolled ever since the first look was launched. The hashtag #Sadak2dislike trended on Twitter where many netizens also urged people to boycott the Bhatt family's project. Many netizens are also upset over Mahesh Bhatt's alleged links with Sushant's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, who has been charged in an FIR by the late actor's father KK Singh, with abetment to suicide among other allegations.
