Indian cricketer Yusuf Pathan allegedly slapped a spectator while
walking back to the dressing room after being dismissed during the Ranji Trophy
tie between Baroda and Jammu & Kashmir at Reliance Stadium. The Baroda allrounder
was upset by the remarks passed by the spectator when he was batting. According
to another BCA secretary Anshuman Gaekwad, the matter was "amicably
resolved" after a family member of the youth came and apologised on his
behalf. Parikh said that the match referee will send a report about the
incident to the BCCI for further action.
