Diwali, the festivity of lights is one of the most celebrated festivals in India. It signifies the immortality of nobility of mankind with the return of Lord Rama from exile after defeating Ravana. The true of spirit of Diwali in modern-day is not just the historic significance, but the love for culture, the love that binds fragmented families into one and the love that protects us from darkness. Let’s have a look at Bollywood Celebs who share their memoirs on the eve of Diwali – the festival of light.

Gehana Vasisth: “I am away from my home and busy shooting this Diwali; I’ll join Lakshmi puja via face time and will relish some sweets before leaving for the shoot. In the evening I will be attending a Diwali party organized by one of my best friend.”

Swara Bhaskar: “This year is going to be a special Diwali because it's going to be my first Diwali in my new house. It's also my first Diwali in Bombay after a very long time. To make things extra special, my family- my parents and brother are coming down to Bombay to join me in these celebrations. All this in the midst of workshops for my next film and existing shoot commitments. The build up to Diwali, of course, will be also visiting the card parties of friends. So, it's a happy and busy Diwali.”
