Popular model and TV primetime host, Sonika Chauhan was killed while actor Vikram Chatterjee was seriously injured after their car met with an accident in Kolkata. Sonika was declared dead on the spot, whereas Vikram was admitted to a nearby hospital, police said.

Union rural development minister Gopinath Munde was died in a road accident in Delhi on Tuesday morning, June 03, 2014. He was first admitted to Safdarjung Hospital and later shifted to the AIIMS trauma centre.

The accident happened when Munde was on his way to the Indira Gandhi International airport to fly to Mumbai. Munde had a victory rally scheduled in Beed and Parali in Maharashtra. The accident happened at 6:30am, when he was on his way to the airport. Reports said that a car rammed his vehicle from behind near Moti Bagh area.

Fate's cruel hands crushed Taruni Sachdev's dreams when a 20-seater plane slammed into a cliff in Jomsom, western Nepal killing thirteen Indians and two crew members on May 13, 2013. The 14-year-old child actress was last seen in the Amitabh Bachchan starrer 'Paa'. Her mother Geetha Sachdev also died in the crash.
