Yuva is a remake of the Tamil version Aayitha Ezhuthu, written and directed by Mani Ratnam. The movie’s storyline is based on students entering politics from completely different strata of society, due to one fateful incident on Kolkata's Howrah Bridge changes their lives forever.

Woh 7 Din is a remake of a Tamil movie Antha 7 Naatkal, the movie was a great hit and very well received by the public. After its success, it was remade in Telugu version as Radha Kalyanam and then made in Hindi.

Wanted is directed by Indian film director, dance choreographer and actor Prabhu Deva. The Hindi version is a remake of Telugu action movie Pokiri. The Telugu version did very well at the box office, and Wanted was also the second highest-grossing Bollywood movie of the year 2009.

Virasat is a remake of the Tamil film Thevar Magan. After the success of the Tamil version, director Priyadarshan took over the Hindi version from director Bharathan. Both movies did very well at the box office. The Tamil version was chosen by India as its entry for the ‘Best Foreign Language Film’ for the 65th Academy Awards.

Saathiya is a remake of a Tamil romantic drama Alaipayuthey, starring R. Madhavan and directed by Mani Ratnam. The Hindi version was directed by Shaad Ali under Yash Raj Films. The music for both the movies was composed by an international legend A. R. Rahman.
