Legendary actress Sridevi might not be with us anymore but she is remembered on all the occasions and festivals. Bollywood’s popular mehndi artist Veena Nagda spoke about Sridevi’s favourite mehndi design on Karwa Chauth. While speaking to Zoom TV, Veena said, “Sridevijee used to love the round mehndi design. She kept it simple and round always. And, she used to apply Mehendi on every Karwa Chauth without fail.” Mehndi artist Veena Nagda, who has been Sridevi’s all time favourite, had posted few candid pictures of the actress on Instagram. On Sridevi’s demise, she shared a heartfelt post. She wrote, “I am very heartbroken to hear about Sriji 😢 I have always applied mehendi to her on every karwa chauth ✍ She was such a beautiful person with pure soul 🤗🤗 Life is very unpredictable. May her soul rest in peace ❤@sridevi.kapoor ⭐” Veena has been very close to Kapoor family and has been visiting them for the past 25 years. Talking about Karwa Chauth celebrations at Kapoor house, Veena said, “Karwa Chauth is celebrated with great fervour at their house. This year as well I have been booked for Karwa Chauth.” She was the one who applied mehndi on Sonam Kapoor’s hand on the actress’s wedding. Veena said, “I have been applying mehndi on Sonam's hand since she was six. When I was applying her bridal mehndi, she asked me to do the design that we used to do in the past and then she got the detailed mehndi work done with lotus design.” (All photos: Instagram)
