Bharat Ek Khoj: Written, produced and directed by Shyam Benegal, Bharat Ek Khoj was an Indian historical drama based on the book The Discovery of India by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. The serial dwelled upon five thousand year old history of India till its independence in 1947.
