Jayaram: For Jayaram, Onam has always been about family; and this year would be no different. "I have always made it a point to spend Thiruvonam with my family. So this year too, we plan to celebrate the festival at our home in Chennai. My wife Ashwathy will prepare the Onasadya , complete with several varieties of payasam. We have already started shopping for the festival," says the star.

Kavya Madhavan:This Onam will be a family affair for the actress, her mother informs. "Kavya was supposed to be working on Thiruvonam for Breaking News. But now, the dates have been pushed; so we'll be able to spend time together at home. Kavya will help me out with the pookkalam in front our house and then we'll prepare an Onasadhya."

Kunchacko Boban: Mollywood's 'Mr Dependable' will be celebrating Onam with a special family in the capital city this year. "I plan to take a day off from shooting for Shafi's '101 Weddings' to be at Thiruvananthapuram. We have plans to spend Thiruvonam at Chief Minister Oommen Chandy's home, as he happens to be our family friend," says the actor, adding that it's a tentative plan.
