Malayalam film actress Rima Kallingal today tied the knot with director Aashiq Abu at the Sub-Registrar's office in Kochi.

The duo reached the Sub Registrar's office around noon and registered their marriage in the presence of their close relatives and friends.

After signing the register, the two exchanged garlands and wedding vows. CPI(M) MP, P Rajeeve, accompanied them to the office.

A huge crowd had gathered since morning to catch a glimpse of the couple, who later came out and thanked everyone for blessing them.
