They wrote my name in the sand … such a cool day 😎.” Earlier, Britney Spears had announced her engagement to partner Sam Asghari after more than four years together. The pop superstar shared a video of herself wearing a diamond ring. She wrote on Instagram: "I can't f***ing believe it" alongside diamond ring emojis and a love heart. The video featured an emotional-looking Britney, 39, showing off the gem while Iranian actor and fitness instructor Sam, 27, asks if she is pleased with it. "Yes!" says Britney, before kissing him on the cheek. Months back, Britney Spears has signaled she is not yet ready to return to making music after 13 years under a conservatorship that took away control of her personal and business affairs and left her scared of the entertainment business. Spears, who was freed from the court-imposed arrangement in 2008 sought by her father, said in a lengthy Instagram post that she wanted to "push myself a bit more and do things that scare me but not too much" in 2022. “I guess it seems odd to most why I don’t even do music anymore... People have no idea the awful things they have done to me personally and after what I've been through, I'm scared of people and the business!!!,” wrote Spears, who last performed publicly in October 2018.
