In an interview to TOI last year, Manoj said, "Our first date was at a small cafe in Howrah. We munched on grilled sandwiches and sipped on chocolate milkshakes. Even then, what I liked about her is that she's very cute and good-natured as a person. For me, it was love at first sight and I proposed to her. She said yes."
