Rajinikanth's daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth deletes pool picture after getting trolled

Soundarya Rajinikanth, the younger daughter of superstar-turned-politician Rajinikanth, is making headlines after she shared a picture of herself and her little son Ved enjoying in a pool. Soundarya captioned it: “Teach them early….and they learn to shine by themselves!!! #Swimming is an essential activity!!” (sic). Sadly, her picture didn’t seem to go down well with few social media users and she got trolled. Social media users slammed her for posting such pictures when Chennai was reeling under a severe water crisis. Later, Soundarya deleted her picture and tweeted, “Removed the pictures shared in good spirit from my #TravelDiaries considering the sensitivity around the current #WaterScarcity we are facing 🙏🏻. The throwback pics were to emphasise the importance for physical activities for children from a young age only 🙂🙏🏻 #LetsSaveWater” Soundarya Rajinikanth was earlier in news when she tied the knot with Vishagan Vanangamudi in February, 2019. She was previously married to businessman R Ashwin, with whom she has a three-year-old son Ved. Soundarya, who has worked as a graphic designer in the South film industry since 1999, has also directed films such as ‘Kochadaiiyaan’ and ‘Velaiilla Pattadhari 2’. (All photos: Instagram)
