It was a day of prayers and blessings, as Bengalureans celebrated Bakri Eid, also known as Eid-ul-Adha – an important festival for Muslims – in different parts of the city. The morning hours saw the young and old alike offering their prayers and greeting each other in festive fervour. The celebrations continued through the day.
