The who's who of Kannada cinema headed to the outskirts of Bengaluru to wish newly-wed actor Rishi and Swathi Parasuraman at their reception, which was held in Bengaluru on November 20, 2019. The actor married his girlfriend at an intimate affair in Chennai on November 10, 2019. Their friends from the industry made it a point not to miss the reception, despite the fact that it was raining in Bengaluru and that the venue was very far away. Rishi's Kavaludaari co-star Anant Nag was among the early birds at the event, accompanied by his wife Gayatri. Actors like Puneeth Rajkumar, Yash, Ragini Dwivedi, Bhavanaa Raao, Sharan and many other attended the do to bless the couple. Earlier, in an interview, Rishi revealed his plans about marriage. He said, “Since Swathi’s family lives in Hyderabad, we held the engagement there. Her family’s roots are from Chennai, so we will have a beach-side wedding there. The three-day affair on November 8, 9 and 10 will include sangeet, mehendi and the wedding ceremonies. These will be rather intimate, with only closest family and friends in attendance. We plan to then have a reception in Bengaluru on November 20, where we will invite my industry colleagues and friends.”
