When pets paraded through city’s college campus

It was a day of fun and excitement at Mount Carmel College recently, with nearly 20 dogs and cats parading on the college premise as part of a special event, called ‘It’s a Paw-Ty’. Decked up in jackets and boots, these four-legged buddies managed to put up quite the show on campus. Benmol, a final-year student and one of the organisers, says, “We wanted to end the last event as members of the Student Union this academic year on a high note, and what better way to do that than having pets over.” The event saw many students interact with the furry little ones, as they took part in games like jumping through hoops as well as the lemon and spoon race. The event saw breeds such as Golden Retriever, Labrador, Pugs, Shih Tzu and indie varieties among others.
