City college hosts wall art festival featuring French artists

As part of the fourth edition of Bonjour India, the French Institute in India and the Alliance Française du Bengale tied up with a city college to organise a wall art festival on the campus in Delhi. The festival also featured French graffiti artist Skio. Bonjour India celebrates 75 years of India’s Independence and 75 years of the establishment of Indo-French diplomatic relations. Talking about the event, Nicolas Facino, the director of Alliance Française du Bengale said, “Street art and urban culture generate enthusiasm both in India and in France. India has a long history and tradition of wall art, exposing the world to the infinite richness of its cultures. France has a very strong and historical urban art scene and is a proactive country in redesigning permanently the face/shape of its cities.”
