The auditorium of Kamala Nehru College recently saw a rare scene as the stage had a bunch of boys performing along with the students of the college. The exception was made for the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the institution, where Lakshya, KNC’s theatre society, performed Euripedes’ The Trojan Women. From heavy monologues to flowing costumes to Greek-style family drama, the students showed it all.

Feisal Alkazi, the director and costume head for the play, said, “I think DU has a lot of talent, and I love working with these students. Many of them are also preparing for their MBAs and interning, but their passion for theatre doesn’t die.”
