Times Group's Bennett University hosted its 4th Annual Convocation ceremony at Bennett University Campus in Greater Noida on October 15, 2022. Around 709 students were awarded degrees in a variety of fields - from engineering to law to mass communication. Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Anandiben Patel attended the ceremony virtually. Prominent Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh, Founder & CEO of Nykaa, Falguni Nayar, Chancellor, Bennett University Vineet Jain and Dr Prabhu Kumar Aggarwal, Vice-Chancellor of Bennett University graced the ceremony with their presence. The Managing Director of Times Group and Chancellor of Bennett University, Vineet Jain and actor Ranveer Singh both felicitated 15 students from Ucchya Prathmik Vidyalaya, Kasna, and handed over goodie basket and bags with books. Sharing a word of advice and motivation for the graduates, Vineet Jain, Chancellor, Bennett University, said, “Today is about you – about your fears, hopes, dreams, and life choices. Forget the standard definitions of ‘success’ and seek out what gives you meaning. If you find this ‘why’ of your life, you can deal with the ‘hows’ and ‘whats’. It’s important that you follow your own instincts and interests. Have faith in yourself, be bold, don’t be afraid to take calculated risks, and don’t be paralysed by fear of failure. Most importantly, never stop learning, embrace change, and constantly innovate. That is the key to success.” Ranveer Singh entertained the crowd with an impromptu rap performance. The day ended with celebrations and reminiscing as students, who looked dapper in their graduation capes, threw their tassels in air to mark the transition.
