Over 42 artisans came together at Potters Festival

Over 42 artisans from across the country came together at a recently held Potters Festival at Assagao. Potters from Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Pune, Bombay, Dehradun and Goa participated at the three-day festival which showcased the works of their hands. From earthenware pots, pans and planters, to ceramic plates and vases, the venue has stalls with the most colourful of handmade clay works. Apart from the sale of items, the festival also had a talk on ‘how to sell your product’ by Neal Calemiri from Malta. Goan ceramic artist, Bhisaji Gadekar also held a pottery workshop where he taught budding artists the finer art and skills of pottery.
