Bollywood and TV stars shower their blessings on Ekta Kapoor’s newborn Ravie

Ekta Kapoor, who became a mother through surrogacy on January 27, 2019, organised a ‘naamkaran’ ceremony for son Ravie Kapoor on February 11, 2019. Celebrities like Abhishek Bachchan, Karan Johar, Swara Bhasker, Huma Qureshi and many others came to congratulate Ekta Kapoor on becoming mother. Television stars like Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya, Karishma Tanna, Mouni Roy, Vikas Gupta and others arrived in style to attend the ceremony, which was held at Ekta Kapoor’s residence in Mumbai. Ekta’s family, Jeetendra, Shobha Kapoor, Tusshar and nephew Laksshya also attended the ceremony to shower their love and blessings to the newborn. The new mommy Ekta Kapoor, who is in her happy space, posed happily for shutterbugs before the ceremony. She even shared few inside pictures from the ceremony on Instagram where she was seen posing with her ‘girl gang’. Ekta posted one picture of Smriti Irani where she was seen posing with Ravie. She captioned the image as, “Maaasi special!!!!”. Ekta’s close friends Karishma Tanna, Krystle D'Souza and Anita Hassanandani also shared ceremony pictures on Instagram and congratulated her. Ekta Kapoor, who became a proud single parent to a baby boy, revealed that she named her son after her father Jeetendra. Ekta Kapoor announced Ravie's birth four days after he was born. She shared this news on social media and wrote, “By God’s grace, I have seen many successes in my life, but nothing beats the feeling of this beautiful soul being added in my world. I cannot even begin to express how happy my baby’s birth has made me. Everything in life doesn’t go the way you want it to but there are always solutions to those hiccups. I found mine and today I feel immensely blessed to become a parent. It is an emotional moment for me and my family and I can’t wait to begin this new journey of being a mother." (Photo: Instagram)
