Popstar and international singing sensation Katy Perry, who is in Mumbai to perform at a music concert, received a warm welcome by Bollywood celebrities. Filmmaker Karan Johar hosted a lavish welcome party for the ‘Roar’ singer at his residence in Mumbai on November 14, 2019. Celebrities stepped out in style as they attended Karan’s star-studded party. Stars like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan with Abhishek Bachchan, Gauri Khan, Kajol, Malaika Arora, Anushka Sharma, Kiara Advani, Aditi Rao Hydari, Kajol, Alia Bhatt, Shahid Kapoor with Mira Rajput, Ananya Panday and others marked their presence at Karan’s party. South stars Vijay Deverakonda, Rana Daggubati and Rahul Khanna were also seen chilling with Katy Perry. The ‘Roar’ singer happily posed for pictures with celebrities and was spotted having a gala time at the party. Katy looked alluring in a purple-golden outfit. Many pictures of the party are going viral on social media. The stars have shared some inside photos and videos from the party on their Instagram accounts. Katy Perry will inaugurate the One Plus Music Festival at the DY Patil Sports Stadium on November 16, 2019. The singer is all set to mark her first ever performance in Mumbai. She will perform with Dua Lipa, Amit Trivedi and several other artistes.The pop sensation attended a press conference after her arrival in Mumbai on November 12, 2019. She shared her excitement at the press meet and said, "I'm excited to watch some of the other people performing. I'm totally excited to immerse myself in the culture, this week in Mumbai. I am not the girl who stays indoors and orders room service. I go out, seek the world, I love people, culture, traditions. You're going to catch me on these streets."
