Bollywood celebrities arrived at late actor Raj Kapoor’s residence to pay their condolences to Krishna Raj Kapoor’s family. Stars including Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Kajol, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Sanjay and wife Maheep Kapoor, Anil and Sunita Kapoor, Prem Chopra, and many others gathered at the residence. According to reports, the last rites will be performed at Chembur crematorium. Krishna Raj Kapoor’s son Randhir told PTI, “My mother passed away at about 5 am today due to cardiac arrest...old age was another factor. We are deeply saddened by her demise.” Raj Kapoor married Krishna Malhotra in May 1946, and the couple had five children including three sons, Randhir, Rishi and Rajiv, and two daughters, Ritu and Rima. Krishna Raj Kapoor is the sister of popular actors Prem Nath and Rajendra Nath. Krishna’s daughter Rima Jain was snapped in tears outside the residence. Krishna Raj Kapoor passed away following a cardiac arrest in Mumbai. Krishna, who was the head of the house, has been a strong pillar of the Kapoor family. (Photo: Viral Bhayani)
