Santoor maestro Pandit Shivkumar Sharma, who passed away at the age of 84 following a cardiac failure on May 10, 2022, was accorded a funeral with full state honours on May 11, 2022. The last rites were performed at the Vile Parle crematorium in Mumbai. Bollywood personalities Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Javed Akhtar, and Roopkumar Rathod, among others paid their last respects to the departed music legend. He is survived by his wife Manorama Sharma and sons Rahul and Rohit Sharma.
