The Ice-bucket challenge: Robert Pattinson did it, Tom Cruise did it, as did our very own Abhishek Bachchan. If one was nominated for the ice-bucket challenge, they had to pour a bucket filled with — you guessed it, ice — on themselves and nominate three other people to do the same. The nominated people have to complete the challenge in 24 hours, and make a donation to the ALS Association.

THE Book-bucket challenge: This is the latest challenge born from the ice-bucket challenge, and is the only one that doesn’t require nominees to even get up from their desks. The book-bucket challenge is aimed at eradicating illiteracy and involves donating books to the needy.
