Actress Shashwati Pimplikar, known for her roles in Marathi films like 'Balak Palak' and 'Headline', tied the knot with Rajendra Karmarkar, a photographer on December 17, 2020. While the wedding ceremony had only families and close friends in attendance, some of Shashwati's friends and acquaintances from the film industry attended a small function on December 16, 2020. Present at the function were Aastad Kale, who stood in as Shashwati's mama, his wife Swapnali, dancer Nupur Daithankar, who used to be the bride's roommate in Mumbai, actors Sharad Ponkshe and Anuja Sathe, Gauri and Ketan Kshirsagar, and Shashwati's childhood friend Falguni Zende. The guests were seen having a good time as they bonded over conversations and became a part of the couple's happy moments.
