Fashion Designer Sharbari Dutta dies at 63

India's known fashion designer Sharbari Dutta found dead at her residence in Kolkata on September 17, 2020. According to the news agency, PTI, Sharbari Dutta died after suffering a stroke and was found dead in the washroom of her home. She was 63. Sharbari Dutta lived alone at her residence in Broad Street. Citing Dutta's family sources, the designer was not reachable on the phone since last morning. According to doctors, the cause of Dutta's death is a stroke. Dutt's body was sent for postmortem since she was found dead in the washroom, family sources said. Members of the Bengali film fraternity including Arindam Sil and Raj Chakraborty condoled Sharbari Dutta's death on social media. "Sharbaridi (#SharbariDutta) was such a dear person to me. I am shell shocked to hear that she is no more. Such a wonderful and ever-smiling woman. A talent who was our pride. Hope you will be in peace where you are now Sharbaridi", Arindam Sil said on Twitter. While Raj tweeted, "Shocked to learn about the demise of #SharbariDutta who put Bengal on the map with constant experiments of Bengali clothing and creations. I'm lucky to have worked and been styled by her. I hope she's in a better place now,".
