Garmin launches Fenix 5X Plus smartwatch

GPS equipment manufacturer Garmin launched its Fenix 5X Plus multi-sport watch in the country, which is priced at Rs 79,990. The Garmin Fenix 5X Plus is manufactured from premium material and comes with a scratch-resistant sapphire lens, which boasts of a PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) coated stainless-steel bezel and a silicone watch band. The Garmin Fenix 5X Plus features a Round-trip Run and a Round-trip Ride routing options, a wrist-based heart rate feature, a wrist-based Pulse Ox sensor and built-in navigation sensors including gyroscope, three-axis compass, arometric altimeter and multi-satellite (GPS, Galileo and GLONASS) network capability. It also offers features including LiveTrack and GroupTrack that allow users track others. Commenting on the launch, Ali Rizvi, National Sales Manager Garmin India said, “Garmin has launched this intelligent smart watch with maps, music and payment features, keeping in mind the needs of the adventurers who engage in long stretched activities. When using the smart watch users can travel light, the features in the watch bring convenience and fun to the user activities to make them memorable.”
