with the new Redmi 2 smartphone, Xiaomi launched its MiPad tablet in the Indian
market at Rs 12,999. The new MiPad tablet, which was originally launched in
June last year in China, has a 7.9-inch screen with Gorilla Glass 3 protection

India head Manu Jain said that the company will not hold a flash sale of MiPad,
