The all-new HP Chromebook will be available in both touch and non-touch screen variants. It will come with 11.6-inch HD display with 1366x768 resolution and Gorilla Glass protection. HP claims that it is the company's first 11.6-inch display Chromebook laptop to come with touchscreen option.

It is powered by a dual-core Intel Celeron N3060 processor, clubbed with optional 2GB or 4GB RAM. The laptop has 32GB of inbuilt storage and promises to deliver up to 12.5 hours of battery life on the non-touch display variant. The touchscreen variant is supposed to deliver 11 hours of battery life.

HP says its new Chromebook 11 G5 flaunts a redesigned chassis, and slimmer design with narrower display bezels. As for productivity and app availability, the company notes that the laptop will be supporting all the Android apps via the Google Play that is scheduled to hit the Chrome OS later this year. Google announced the merging of almost 2 million Android apps with Chrome OS during its recent Google I/O 2016 conference.
