Intex Aqua Sense 5.1 launched - Intex launched its Aqua Sense

Intex launched its Aqua Sense 5.0 smartphone back in August last year at Rs 4,690. Now, the domestic smartphone maker has launched its successor, the Aqua Sense 5.1 by listing it on the company's website. Interestingly, the handset is priced lower at Rs 3,999.

The dual-SIM supporting Intex Aqua Sense 5.1 runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box and features a 5-inch FWVGA display with 480x854 pixels resolution display. Under-the-hood, the budget smartphone packs a quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731 processor, clubbed with 512MB RAM.

It sports a 2MP rear camera with 2P Lens and f/2.8 aperture, along with a 0.3MP (VGA) front-facing camera. The Intex Aqua Sense 5.1 sports 8GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card. On the connectivity front, the smartphone supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, FM Radio, and USB 2.0 port.

Backed by a 2500mAh battery, the Aqua Sense 5.1 measures 142x72.7x9.6mm and will be available in White, Grey and Black colour variants. It also comes pre-installed with apps such as Follo, Matrabhasha, OLX, and Gujrat Lions.

As compared to the Intex Aqua Sense 5.0, the successor comes with a newer Android OS, better, battery capacity, lower screen resolution, lower 2MP rear camera instead of 5MP, same processor, display size, RAM, front-facing camera, and inbuilt storage.
