Karbonn launches quad-core smartphone - Karbonn Mobiles has announced

Karbonn Mobiles has announced India's first quad-core budget smartphone, Smart Titanium 1. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and will retail at Rs 10,990 in the country.

With this device, Karbonn has beaten Micromax for the distinction of having the first low-cost smartphone with a quad-core processor, since the latter's Canvas HD is scheduled to hit the shelves next month.

The all-new Karbonn Smart Titanium 1 has a 5MP camera with flash on the back and a shooter with VGA resolution on the front panel. It is powered by a 1,600mAh battery and has connectivity features like Wi-Fi, 3G, 2G, Bluetooth and microUSB. The device also has dual-sim functionality.
