The Moto G5 is the small-screen variant of Moto G5 Plus, which launched in India last month. It supports dual-SIM cards and comes with a 5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display. Moto G5 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor. It is also one of the cheapest smartphones to run on Android 7.0 out-of-the-box. The metal bodied smartphone will be available in Lunar Grey and Fine Gold colour variants.

The non-clickable home button at the front embeds the fingerprint scanner. It also supports swipe gesture feature. For instance, you can swipe from left to right on the home button to open recent apps, long press on it to open Google Assistant/Now on Tap (older Android versions) and use it to both lock and unlock the device.
