Sony launches Xperia 1 II smartphone

Japanese technology behemoth Sony has launched a new smartphone featuring advanced camera technology for video and film professionals. The Sony Xperia 1 II handset is its first 5G device with ZEISS optics for advanced camera capabilities. The smartphone features a triple-lens setup with three focal lengths of 16mm, 24mm and 70mm. In terms of technology, the Sony Xperia 1 II smartphone comes with a 21:9 CinemaWide 6.5-inch 4K HDR OLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G platform and houses 4,000mAH battery. The handset comes with IP65/68 water resistance. The smartphone will be available in black and purple colours in Europe. The Sony Xperia 1 II smartphone will start shipping from late Spring 2020.
