Vivo Y83 with Android 8.1 launched

Chinese smartphone maker Vivo launched the Vivo Y83 smartphone in India with a price tag of Rs 14,990. The smartphone comes with a 6.22-inch HD+ screen, 720x1520 pixel resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio and a Corning Gorilla Glass top. The handset features a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek processor, 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB with a microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system along with a customised layer of UI - FunTouch OS. The Vivo Y83 smartphone has a 13MP primary camera and an 8MP front snapper. The smartphone houses a 3,260 mAh battery and offers 4G, Wi-Fi 8, VoLTE, GPS and Bluetooth 5 connectivity options.
