PUBG Lite to launch in India soon

Chinese tech giant Tencent Games is all set to bring a ‘Lite’ version of its popular online game PUBG (PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds), which will cater to those, who use low-end hardware and help expanding its user base. PUBG Lite is already available in places like Taiwan, Hong Kong, Brazil and Bangladesh. The PUBG India Facebook page has now confirmed that this version is coming to India soon. The company has also updated the cover picture of its official Facebook page that has a silhouette of Taj Mahal along with the text stating ‘PUBG LITE COMING SOON’. PUBG Lite, which is built for low-end hardware, is a toned down version of the original version that can be played on budget smartphones, who often face connectivity issues. Tencent Games will also release a new update for PUBG Mobile. Meanwhile, the 0.13.0 update has already gone live in beta.
