Fables of a strange woman where she calls men by their name and abducts them, leaving their clothes behind never showed up to tell stories, which created fear and distress amongst people in the town. The belief goes that everybody makes sure the inscription O Stree, Kal Aana (O Woman, Come Tomorrow) is written on their walls, and at night try and stay indoors. Stree is a 2018 Indian comedy horror movie directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K. under the banner of Maddock Films in association with D2RFilms
